白宮針對郭台銘與川普會面發出聲明：
「昨天下午川普總統與聰明的商業領導人，世界上最大的公司之一富士康的創辦人郭台銘見面。郭先生正在威斯康辛州投資很多錢，並且很快將會宣佈在當地更多投資。川普總統並沒有跟郭台銘談到支持他在台灣的選舉活動。他只是個好朋友。」
